ABOUT RICA NOORD
Growing up in my parents’ car dealership, the love of cars was ingrained in me from an early age. As a child, I played in and around the workshop every day, my first part-time job was as a car polisher, and later I worked at the gas station on weekends. So the fact that I chose to study automotive engineering was no surprise to anyone.
Over the past twenty years I have gained experience within various car companies and with different brands. I also completed a variety of courses to keep my knowledge of car technology up to date and to expand it. In recent years I worked at the largest Volvo Specialist in the north of the Netherlands. In 2008 I was introduced to Rica Engineering, thé Volvo tuner.
Since then, fully convinced of the quality of this product, I have been tuning cars. Working with computers, software and electronics combined with my passion for and knowledge of cars is perfect for me! Independent entrepreneurship was something I inherited from home. In 2016, the idea came to me to work as an independent Rica dealer.
My company started in January 2017 under the name Rica Noord. I run this business from home. However, I can also perform my work at clients’ homes or at the various car dealerships I work with.
Rica Engineering has been developing chiptuning software since 1992. We do chiptuning (remapping) of the engine management for all brands of cars and fuel engines (petrol and diesel). All adjustments are thoroughly tested and checked on our roller bench.
